A man from Mumbai was arrested for allegedly possessing 55 grams cocaine worth Rs 3.30 lakh, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of the anti narcotics cell (ANC) last night laid a trap at the MP bus stand near railway station here and apprehended Parag Samani (44), a senior police official said.
55 grams cocaine worth Rs 3.30 lakh, two cell phones and Rs 1,750 cash was recovered from his possession, ANC's Senior Police Inspector Deepak Khobragade told PTI.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigations are on, said the officer.
