One person has been arrested for possessing heroin in Trikuta Nagar here, police said today.
Tanveer Ahmad was intercepted by police yesterday and during his frisking, 18 gram of heroin was seized from his possession, Station House Officer (SHO) Trikuta Nagar, Naveen Angral said.
He said that the accused has been arrested and a case under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against him.
