A 25-year-old man hailing from Maharashtra who allegedly produced fake documents at the German consulate here while applying for a Schengen Visa for travel to that counttry was arrested, police said today.
Ganoi Sume Shamro from Aurangabad had applied for a Schengen Visa at the German consulate here. During interview, the consulate officials realised that the documents produced were fake, a police release said.
On a complaint by Consulate officials, police arrested Shamro yesterday. He was produced before court today which remanded him to judicial custody.
