A 24-year-old man was arrested today for allegedly raping a minor girl here, police said.
Police said two days ago the man had taken the 14-year-old girl to his place after promising to marry her and then allegedly raped her.
He dropped her at home today and the girl informed her father, a labourer, following which a complaint was lodged, police said, adding that the man was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
