A 22-year-old man was arrested with 26 kg of cannabis in possession at Rathbari area of Malda district today.
Sariful Haq was picked up for questioning while moving around suspiciously and later arrested after the contraband was found in his possession, a police official said.
Haq, a resident of Kaliachak, was on his way to to Gajole apparently to sell the drug when he was apprehended, he said.
