The Cyberabad Police today arrested an alleged drug offender from Thondupally village in the city's outskirts and also seized fake currency from him.
Based on a tip-off, a police team nabbed U Mahesh and seized about 50 grams of heroin and fake currency with a face value of Rs 83,000 from his possession, a release from Cyberabad Police said.
"The offender used to visit celebrity events, carnivals and colleges to dispose off narcotic drugs," it added.
Further investigation into the case is on.
