Man held with drugs valued at Rs 10 lakh at Imphal airport

Airport sources said a flier, identified as Mohd Yahiya Khan, was intercepted by CISF after he arrived at the airport to board an Air India flight to Kolkata at around 11 am.

"CISF sub-inspector P Debnath frisked Khan and recovered 160 grams of Methamphetamine, a banned drug, which was concealed in his clothes and shoes. He was later handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) authorities here," they said.

The cost of the seized drug is about Rs 10 lakh, they said.
