A man allegedly involved in narcotics smuggling was arrested from Barauli village in Zaidpur area here with heroin worth about Rs 1 crore in the international market, police said here today.
Irfan was arrested by a team of local police and Narcotics department yesterday with 900 gm heroin worth over Rs one crore, Circle officer, Sadar, Balramchari Dubey said.
He said that that arrested person was involved in narcotics smuggling.
Police is trying to elicit more information from him about the gang.
