Narsingh Ballai was apprehended from Jahangirpuri yesterday on a tip-off, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sanjay Kumar Jain said.
"He is a farmer and used to drive tractor. To earn a quick buck, he acted as a courier to supply opium and heroin for local drug-traffickers Daler and Balu Singh on commission basis to their clients in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi," he said.
Ballai belongs to Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.
