allegedly with 25 kg of poppy husk worth around Rs 2.5 lakh, police said today.
Neela Ram was apprehended from Patel Nagar yesterday, Devesh Srivastava, Additional Commissioner of Police (Central), said.
Ram, who hails from Ludhiana, told police that he used to purchase poppy husk from Gwalior for sale in slum areas of Delhi at higher prices.
