A 50-year-old man was injured in a leopard attack in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, where Army troops rescued him.
Mohd Kasim was attacked by a leopard, while he was grazing his cattle in the meadows on the fringes of Kote Budhan forest near Lancha in Goold tehsil of Reasi district today, PRO Defence, Northern Command said.
"Kasim shouted for help which was heard by an Army patrol party nearby. The soldiers immediately rushed and scared the Leopard away. Then the forest officials were informed immediately", he said.

His family members expressed their gratitude and appreciated the efforts of the Army for the noble deed, he said.
The troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) battalion rescued a man who was attacked by a leopard at Kote Budhan forest near Lancha, he said.
