A 60-year-old man, who was sleeping outside a grocery shop, was killed after a speeding truck rammed into the structure in the wee hours of today in Runeja village in Bundi district, police said.
Ramdev Kirad (60), a resident of Runeja village, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a government hospital where he died, Sanjay Royal, SHO Dablana police station, said.
The grocery shop was also severely damaged in the incident, he added.

The driver of the speeding truck, which belonged to a mega highway construction company, has been arrested and a case registered against him, he said.
The locals and Ramdev's family members staged a protest, demanding compensation following which officials reached the spot along with the manager of the company which owned the truck to pacify them, he said.
Highway construction work between Uneyara Shahapura, Bhilwada is underway, the SHO said.
