Man killed by family members in Raj

A 30-year-old man was killed allegedly by his family members following a dispute over sharing of water in a field in Rajasthan's Bundi district, police said today.

Phorulal Gujjar (30) was killed by five persons yesterday, including his two elder brothers- Ramraj Gujjar and Devraj Gujjar, their wives and another woman, Sanjay Royal, SHO Dablana police station said.

The accused attacked Phorulal with sticks and sharp-edged weapons injuring him on his head, Royal said, adding, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A case has been registered against five persons under relevant sections of IPC and investigation is underway, the SHO added.
