Man killed by lover's husband, relatives in Raj

A man and his relatives allegedly abducted his wife and her lover and killed him here, police said today.

Punam Vishnoi and her lover Devendra Vishnoi were abducted last night by her husband Prakash and his brothers and relatives in two SUVs from Jain Colony here, police said.

An SUV, in which Punam and Prakash were travelling, overturned near Maghpura village and he fled in the other SUV leaving her in an injured state, SHO of Sukher police station, Harendra Singh said.

Later in the night, body of Devendra was recovered from Keshav Nagar area and prima facie it appears the accused killed him, he said.
 

Punam was married to Prakash two years ago in Jalore district but she eloped with her lover last month and settled in Jain Colony here.

The woman has been admitted to a local hospital and the accused are being searched, he added.

In a separate incident in the same police station area, the body of a man was found last evening in charred state near Kailashpuri pond here, he said.

The deceased was identified as Ganpat Singh, the SHO said, adding that prima facie it appears to be a case of murder.
