A man was today killed and his brother injured in an alleged attack by their neighbours over a dispute regarding planting of tree in Pasgawan area of Lakhimpur district, police said.
Naseem and his brother were attacked by their neighbours Ismail, Hashim and Chottali following a dispute over planting of tree here.
Naseem was killed using a sharp-edged weapon during the dispute and his brother Chottkane suffered injuries and has been admitted to a hospital, police said.
No arrests have yet been made in the case and the hunt is on to nab the accused, they said.
