The victim was identified as Ram Singh Soy.
Police said two persons have called out Ram Singh Soy from his house and hurled bomb a distance away.
Ram Singh Soy was killed on the spot, sources said adding that the victim was recently released from jail on bail.
He was arrested by the police in connection with a road robbery case few months ago.
