A 50-year-old man was killed in a drunken brawl in the wee hours today at Vellayil near here and one person was arrested in this connection, police said.
The deceased George and the accused Joseph were engaged in a wordy duel at a tea shop and the latter allegedly attacked him with a wooden club in an inebriated condition following which George died, police said.
Joseph has been arrested, police said.
