Man killed in gruesome manner

A man was beheaded and both his both hands were chopped off at a village in Araria district of Bihar today, the police said.

The incident took place at Majhgawan village and the victim has been identified as Mohammad Rizwan (40), a resident of Sisauna village.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Ranjan said the body was sighted by the villagers, who then informed the police.

"Prima facie it seems that Rizwan was beheaded and his limbs were chopped off with sharp edged weapons. A case has been registered against unidentified criminals and investigations have been started in the killing," Ranjan said.
