Man killed in road mishap in Kashmir

A 41-year-old man was killed in Bandipora area of north Kashmir when his car was hit by an Army vehicle today, police said.

A private car was hit by an army vehicle at Sumbal, resulting in the death of the driver of the civilian vehicle, a police official said.

He said the deceased was identified as Mohammad Ashraf Mir, resident of nearby Ganderbal district.

Police has registered a case against the "erring" army driver and taken him into custody.
