Man killed over argument for fodder in Haryana

An argument over fodder at a village here resulted in the killing of a person allegedly by four men who beat him to death with sticks, police said today.

According to police, Manish Nath along with his wife and a cousin had gone to the farms of a villager to get fodder.

Accused Dharmendra, Tejpal, Azad and Shivnarain were already present in the fields and consuming liquor when the trio reached there.

An argument broke out between the two parties leading to brawl in which Nath was injured. Soon Nath's cousin Vinod and Mukesh reached the spot and they too were hit by the accused with sticks, police said.
 

The injured were taken to a hospital where Vinod succumbed to the injuries, they said.

A case has been registered against the four accused, they added.
