A petty dispute over a parking spot proved fatal for a car driver in Rajasthan's Bikaner district, police said Wednesday.

Chanratan Modi, the 40-year-old driver, died on Tuesday night after he was beaten by Sunil Sampat Mali, Sunil Lal Mali, and Laliy Mali, Srikolayat SHO Jagdish Singh said.

He said the three accused first entered into an argument with the car driver over parking issues. Soon after the argument turned into a brawl, the officer added.

The victim fell unconscious and was rushed to the state-run PBM Hospital where he was declared brought dead, Singh said, adding that a case of murder was registered against the accused.

The body was handed over to the family members after postmortem, he said.
