Man killed, two others injured in mishap

One person was killed and two other were injured today in a road accident near a village on NH-83 in Jehanabad district of Bihar, a police officer said.

The mishap took place near Erki village as a speeding autorickshaw lost control and overturned in a ditch in which a passenger Suresh Paswan was killed on the spot, while two other occupants, including the driver sustained injuries, Town police station in-charge Nagendra Singh said.

The injured persons were admitted to the Sadar hospital where the attending doctors referred the two to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in the state capital in view of their serious condition, he said.
 

The autorickshaw has been impounded, Singh added.
