A Sri Lankan Tamil allegedly killed his mother, wife and daughter with a sharp-edged weapons before committing suicide by jumping before a speeding train here today, police said.
The man has been identified as Sundaresan.
According to police, Sundaresan had suffered losses in business and this may be the reason behind him committing the crimes.
Sundaresan's mother, wife and daughter, were found in a pool of blood when police entered the house at suburban Adambakkam.
