Arun Pandey, who is mentally disturbed, attacked his wife Kiran Pandey (30) with an axe after having suspicion over her character in Thokabansi village late last night, police said.
Kiran was rushed to district hospital where she died during treatment, police said.
Arun has been arrested with the axe used in the murder.
