A man allegedly hacked his wife and ten-year-old daughter and fled home in Gumla district's Hensagberotoli village, the police said today.
The 32-year-old man identified as Birsu Oraon has escaped after allegedly axing his 28-year-old wife Bholi Devi and daughter Sunita (10) last night, the sources said.
The reason behind the grisly act was not yet established, the sources said here.
