A man allegedly bulldozed his wife to death before committing suicide in Barsana area here, police said today.
Ritu Kumar (35), an assistant technical manager in the Goverdhan block, killed his wife, Rashmi devi (32), an Anganbadi worker in Chhatta, by hitting her head with a blunt object and later committed suicide by consuming sulphas tablets, they said.
The incident came to light when Kumar's mother went to the couple's room and found them dead, they said.
The couple is survived by two daughters and one son, police said, adding the eldest of the three is seven-year-old Urvashi.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem, they added.
