Frustrated over frequent quarrels in the family, a man allegedly killed his wife and their 18-year-old daughter at their residence in Bavla town near here, police said.
The incident took place late last night, police said, adding that the accused, Pratapram Meghwal (42), committed the crime as he was fed up with his wife's accusation that he was into a physical relationship with their daughter.
"Meghwal, a native of Rajasthan, first attacked his wife Lila (37) with a knife while she was asleep and then stabbed their daughter Komal (18) at their rented house in Shantinagar area of Bavla town in Ahmedabad district," Sub Inspector (PSI) of Bavla police station, P A Raval, said.
