A 32-year-old woman was allegedly strangulated to death by her husband in Gaurkhas village in Utraula area here, police said today.
Shafikunisha was strangulated by her husband Usman Gani three days ago over some family dispute, they said.
They said the accused later put her body in a sack and threw it in a well from where it was recovered yesterday.
The accused has been arrested, police said.
