Man lynched for allegedly sneaking into neighbour's house

A man was lynched for allegedly sneaking into his neighbour's house at Chayanagar locality here in the early hours today, the police said.

Local residents caught hold of Anil Das (32), tied him with a rope, and then thrashed him black and blue on charges of entering the house of his neighbour, Rakesh Bhuiyan, in an inebriated state at around 2 AM, Officer-in-charge of Sitaramdera police station Laxman Prasad said.

A police team rushed to the spot and recovered his body,he said.

Two persons identified as Radheynath and Ganesh Sharma alias Dhankudra were arrested while a hunt is on to nab two others, he added.
