A man allegedly misbehaved with a woman staffer of an IT firm near Outer Ring Road (ORR) here after she gave him lift in her car today, police said.
The incident happened when the woman while returning from a temple noticed a man standing near her car who pleaded with her to give him lift as he has some urgent work, to which she obliged, Raidurgam police said quoting her complaint.
Police said after they left in the car, the man asked her to take the car towards ORR and started misbehaving with her even as she sent an message to the ORR police patrolling team for help.
The man got down from the car after the woman pulled over and fled.
"We are examining the complaint and have sent the woman for medical examination. Further investigations are on and we are in the process of registering a case," a senior police officer said.
