A driver, offering 'Namaz' after parking his vehicle along the national highway here, was mowed down by an unidentified VIP vehicle, police said today.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Hasan, they said, adding that the incident occurred last evening.
The vehicle with red beacon, while escaping, hit a three-wheeler in the Makkhanpur area, injuring five persons.
