A 25-year-old man was murdered using sharp-edged weapons allegedly by his ex-wife and two others over a financial dispute at Loyara village in Udaipur district, police said today.
The incident took place on November 30 and Mangilal's body was found lying in an agricultural field on December 1, Superintendent of Police R P Goyal said.
Three persons including Mangilal's ex-wife Rajudi, her new husband Shankar and his colleague Kailash Gameti were arrested yesterday following interrogation, the SP said.
Police said as per their caste tradition Rajudi's new husband was supposed to pay money to her former husband but Shankar failed to pay up, and this led to the murder of Mangilal.
