One person was killed and his brother seriously injured when some unidentified persons attacked them with sharp edged weapons in Parsauda village here, police said today.
The incident took place last night, when brothers Chhatrapal Yadav (36) and Ajaypal Yadav (42) were sleeping in their fields. Some persons attacked them with sharp edged weapons, they said.
While Chhatrapal died on the spot, Ajaypal was admitted to a hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical, police said.
Investigation into the incident is on, but no arrests have been made so far, they said.
