Ripon (27), a resident of Madanpur Khadar area in Sarita Vihar, was arrested for killing his friend Lateef (30) with the help of his two aides on May 31 as he had refused to return Rs 1 lakh which he owed him, they said.

According to police, the accused had visited the victim to settle the matter when a dispute arose between them, after which Ripon and his two associates -- Roni and Qutub -- conspired to kill Lateef.
