A court here has sentenced a man and his parents to life imprisonment for killing his wife in Churmura village of this district as she could not meet their demand for dowry.
The court of Additional District Judge Sakshi Sharma also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of the convicts.
"Dinesh, his father Ashok and mother Usha were sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering Mamata in 2015 for want of a luxury car as dowry," Assistant District government Counsel Praveen Kumar Singh said.
