A pickpocket, who impersonated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, has been arrested from Anand Vihar bus depot today.

The accused identified as Arvind Sharma, a resident of northeast Delhi's Harsh Vihar, was caught as he was picking pocket, and handed over to police.

"When the passengers handed over the accused to the local policemen, he threatened to have them suspended for arresting him under false charges and claimed that he was Arvind Kejriwal," a police official said.

A case has been registered against Sharma at Vivek Vihar police station under sections of IPC on charges of theft and impersonation.

The accused had been arrested in connection to similar cases earlier.
