The family belonged to Amb in Himachal Pradesh and was residing in the village for more than last 20 years.

Lal had left behind two suicide notes and "both the suicide notes are contradictory and were indirectly pointing towards his nagging wife and sweets-shop owner," SSP said, adding both the angles are being probed.

According to him, Lal was also suffering from a skin decease and was staying at home for the over past 20 days due to illness.
