A 45-year-old man committed suicide after allegedly poisoning his wife and two minor children to death at Kalasingia village, police said today.
The incident took place last night when Manohar Lal, working in a sweets shop took the extreme step by hanging himself from the ceiling of the house, they said.
The other deceased have been identified as his wife Rajni (38), daughter Shaili (9) and 7-year-old son Tushar.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ashish Chaudhary said that the three bodies were found lying on a bed and Lal's body was found hanging from the ceiling.
The family belonged to Amb in Himachal Pradesh and was residing in the village for more than last 20 years.
Lal had left behind two suicide notes and "both the suicide notes are contradictory and were indirectly pointing towards his nagging wife and sweets-shop owner," SSP said, adding both the angles are being probed.
According to him, Lal was also suffering from a skin decease and was staying at home for the over past 20 days due to illness.
Chaudhary said that police found many sleeping pills from the spot and suspected that family members might have died due to over dose of sleeping pills.
The exact cause of death can be ascertained only after the post mortem, he said, adding investigation are underway.
