Man robbed of car

A man was robbed of his car at gunpoint allegedly by four men in Dwarka area of South West Delhi while he was on his way to office.

Randhir Singh (38), a resident of Ganpati Enclave in Najafgarh, was on way to Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant where he works as technician when he was robbed of his car late last night, police said today.

Singh was stopped at a traffic signal near Dwarka Sector 21 metro station by two men. The duo forcibly entered the car using country-made pistols and directed Singh to shift to the rear seat without raising an alarm, said police.
 

They then took a U-turn and drove the car towards Chhawla. Two more persons boarded the vehicle at Pochanpur. Singh was later asked to deboard near New Era Public School in Dwarka Sector 23. The four men then fled with the car, police said.

Singh in his complaint to Dwarka sector 23 police alleged that that the accused also robbed his mobile phone and Rs 2,000 cash. A case has been registered and further investigations are on, said police.
