A packaging contractor was robbed of Rs 7 lakh at gunpoint near Haryana Maitri Bhawan in north west Delhi's Rani Bagh area, police said today.
The victim, Mohd Murtaza, was robbed of Rs 7 lakh yesterday around 4 PM, a senior police officer said.
"Four unknown bikers on two bikes robbed him at gunpoint. The victim was coming on his scooty from Sadar Bazar and was going towards Mangolpuri," he said.
He works as packaging contractor for the factory owner whose money he was transporting.
Police is looking at CCTV footage from the area.
