The body of an unidentified man, aged around 27 years, was found on road in Loni area today.
After preliminary investigation, police suspect that the man was murdered before his body was dumped on the road. The body bore injury marks, a police officer said.
According to the officer, some locals found the man lying unconscious on Nithora-Ghitora Road in Loni area and informed police. He was taken to the district hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
"We have circulated wireless message to all police stations in the district to report about any missing person," said the officer.
