Man's body recovered from lake in Bundi

Body of a 55-year-old man was recovered today from Naval Sagar lake in Bundi district, police said.

Dolatram Sindhi, resident of Vikasnagar colony is suspected to have consumed poison before jumping into the lake, as a bottle of poison has been recovered from near the lake, Sub inspector Munna Ali said.

During the initial investigation, it was found that he was suffering from depression and was taking medicine for the same, he added.

The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem and police is investigating into the matter.

In another incident, body of 45-year-old man was found lying on the Chittor road in Sadar police station area yesterday.
 

The body has been kept in a govt hospital mortuary and has not been identified yet, SHO Subash Puniya said.
