Man's throat slit following argument over cattle in UP

A 45-year-old man was seriously injured after his throat was slit by another person following a heated argument between them over cattle in Shamli district, police said today.

Man Singh's throat was slit allegedly by Gulam Mohammad following a heated argument between them over cattle yesterday, Niraj Kumar, SHO of Thana Bhawan Police Station said.

He was taken to a hospital in Jalalabad town where his condition is stated to be serious, police said, adding efforts are on to nab the accused.
