Two suspected militants tonight shot at and injured a person here, police said.
The motorcycle-borne assailants shot at Zubair Parray outside his shop in Aloochi Bagh area of the city, an official said.
He said Parray sustained bullet injuries in his stomach and was undergoing treatment at a hospital here.
The official refused to share further details.
However, sources said Parray was a political activist and was reportedly affiliated with the BJP.
