A man has been hospitalised after he was shot at by some men outside his house in Mohalla Mahal area here, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday when four persons called Khalid out of his house and opened fire at him, leaving him seriously injured, police said.
Khalid was initially taken to a local hospital from where he was referred to Meerut for further treatment, Additional Superintendent of Police Prabal Pratap Singh said.
The victim's father, Abid, has made a complaint with the police against four persons, he said.
Israr, Iskar, Ehsaan and Gaffmar have been booked on charges of attempt to murder and related offences and police have launched probe to nab them, the ASP said.
