An auto driver was shot at allegedly by an unidentified person purportedly over rivalry at Vikram Chowk area of the city here today, police said.
The injured has been identified as Ranjeet Singh of Satwari area and was admitted to a hospital by traffic cops and locals.
According to preliminary investigation, he was was shot at over some rivalry, police said, adding a case been been registered.
