A man was allegedly shot dead by his
brother over some monetary dispute here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday night in Dandupur village here, they said.
Babu (25) had a fight with his brother Kalu over sharing of wheat after which the latter shot him dead, they added.
After the incident, the accused fled the scene. No case case has been registered yet, police said.
The body has been sent for post mortem, they said, adding that a search for the accused is on.
