A man was shot dead by his cousins and their aide allegedly over an old rivalry in Baradari area, a senior officer said here today.
Rajesh Kumar alias Kusum (36) was shot at by his cousins Sunil alias Bhura, Deepak, Anil Kumar and their aide Sainkil while the victim was watching television with his two sons last night, Additional SP Rajiv Malhotra said.
Rajesh was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead, he said.
The ASP said that a named FIR has been lodged and Deepak has been arrested.
Rajesh's father Jaidev said that on October 27 the victim and Sunil had a dispute while playing cards.
