A 50-year-old man was shot dead and his cousin injured by six persons following an argument in Purahar village here, police said today.
Ajay Vir Singh was last night killed and his cousin Vijay Raj Singh injured by Ashok Singh, his brother Shalendra, Ravi, Adesh, Mukesh and Munesh following an argument over giving donation for a religious programme here, they said.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital from where Ajay was referred to government hospital but he died on the way while Vijay is under going treatment, police said.
An FIR was registered against the six accused, SHO of Kotwali police station, Mukesh Kumar said, adding, no accused has been arrested so far.
