Man shot dead in fight following Holi revellery

A man was killed and four others were injured in exchange of fire over a petty dispute related to Holi celebrations under the jurisdiction of Banganga police station.

The incident took place last night. The deceased was identified as Rahul Kuhswaha (21), Banganga police station in-charge Yogesh Singh Tomar said.

Police arrested Dilip Singh Panwar (55) and his son Jaspal (30) on the charge of murdering Kushwaha.

Dilip Singh and Jaspal allegedly shot Kushwaha; before that Jaspal himself had been shot and wounded during the fight between two groups.

The injured persons were admitted to a hospital. Police said case of murder was filed against one group and that of attempt to murder against the other.
