Man shot dead in Gurgaon

A 27-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle borne assailants near Galleria market at Sector-29 area here, police said today.

Deepak, a resident of Ullawas village in the city, was coming back home after shopping at Galleria market around 12:30 last night when the incident occurred.

Deepak was working as a bouncer for past one year.

"The victim was followed by two motorcycle assailants for few meters after which they opened fire at him. He was rushed to the nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries today morning," said Hawa Singh, APRO, Gurgaon police.

A case has been registered, he said.
 

Prima facie it appears to be a case of personal animosity, Singh said, adding no arrests have been made so far.
